Georgine Roodenrys is a distinguished leader in sustainability and climate action, currently serving as an Executive Director at Rennie Advisory. With over 20 years’ experience spanning public and private sectors, she has driven initiatives in renewable energy, circular economy, natural capital, and climate policy—aimed at aligning human development with planetary boundaries.
Previously a Partner with Deloitte Australia, Georgine has also served as the Executive Director of Climate Change and Sustainable Futures for Queensland’s Department of Environment & Science, delivering the state’s Climate Action Plan 2030 and the $500 million Land Restoration Fund. Passionate about regenerative industrial transition, she advocates for innovation in energy policy and industry development that will support Australia’s economic relevance in a net zero global economy.
Georgine has recently delivered key reports on low carbon liquid fuel market development as well as the future of green iron in Australia. Georgine also supports clients to integrate sustainability into corporate strategy to ensure that key risks and opportunities drive value creation. Clients are now looking to Georgine to support their climate reporting readiness wanting pragmatic and strategic outcomes as they upskill their organisation and increase climate change readiness and resilience.
