Nick Turton
Nick is an Executive Director in Capital Advisory with Rennie, based in Sydney.
Nick enables clients to make sense of their business strategy in the context of government policy, economic regulation and other key financial, commercial and technical drivers of infrastructure investment.
With a strong grounding in the energy, resources and digital sectors, he has 25 years of experience as a management consultant and project director with a track record of delivering a range of infrastructure and related initiatives around Australia, the Asia Pacific and UKMEA.
These initiatives have included working with state and federal governments and their agencies to efficiently prioritise, transact and deliver infrastructure assets as well as helping institutional investors to realise value in infrastructure businesses by providing specialist commercial, technical, operational and ESG due diligence, optimisation assessment and post transaction assurance.
Other experience includes business case development, project delivery, commercial risk management and independent assurance for major projects and programs.
Nick joined Rennie from global infrastructure consultancies RPS Tetra Tech (seven years) and Arup (nine years).
Nick holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), a Master of Engineering Management (MEM) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA, Policy) from UTS. He has also completed sponsored executive postgraduate studies, including a Masters Short Course on Regulation at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Masters Short Course on Business Economics at Imperial College London.
