Lynda Osborne
Lynda is a Executive Director of Rennie, based in Melbourne.
Lynda specialises in technology and digital strategy, investment planning, transformation, and management for regulated utilities. Over the past 15 years, Lynda has advised energy utilities across Australia, including generation, transmission, distribution, and retail clients. Her advice has centred on strategic technology choices to ensure stakeholder outcomes are delivered through technology investment. Lynda's recent work has focused on digital and data capabilities to enable grid flexibility, energy decentralisation, and DER integration.
During her time at Deloitte and PwC Lynda led numerous engagements from technology strategy, transformation roadmaps, capital portfolio development, and business cases; to technology operating models, financial management, and governance. She is also experienced across the technology sourcing lifecycle, and the technology M&A lifecycle.
Lynda has a background in software development and hands-on experience with the Kraken platform – an industry-leading billing and customer management cloud platform for utility retailers. She is also experienced in customer engagement and regulation, through her role as an advisory board member for several Victorian electricity distributors.
