Komal is a Senior Power System Engineer with more than 11 years of consulting experience in the power systems sector. She has extensive experience delivering studies for transmission and renewable energy projects, with expertise in high-voltage substations, network energisation and generator connection requirements. Her technical expertise includes Generator Performance Standards (GPS) studies, Dynamic Model Acceptance Testing (DMAT), benchmarking assessments, transient and lightning studies, and energisation studies for high-voltage cables, transmission lines and transformers. Komal has supported utility-scale solar, battery energy storage (BESS) and hybrid renewable energy projects in Australia, delivering R0, R1 and R2 connection studies in accordance with AEMO requirements. She is proficient in PSCAD, ETAP, PSS®E and Python, and combines strong technical capability with a practical approach to supporting clients through complex grid connection and power system compliance processes.
