Capital Advisory: Consultants – Senior Consultants

About the Role

The role falls within our Capital Advisory service line, which is focused on helping our clients to strategically analyse, plan for, and execute on capital decisions to support sustainable success. 

The Opportunity

We are now seeking applications for Consultants and Senior Consultants to join our Capital Advisory service line, based in Perth, Brisbane or Melbourne.  You will be responsible for supporting the provision of strategic, commercial, sustainability and business advisory services to clients of Rennie both in Australia and globally. As a part of the role, you will be undertaking high quality research and analysis, and presentation of findings to support client engagements and business development. 

You will be responsible for effective communications, attendance at client meetings and supporting the preparation of high-quality client deliverables and presentations. You will support business development and related activities, in relation to existing and prospective clients of Rennie, including learning about client needs and issues, and preparation of client proposals.     

Previous consulting experience is essential. 

Experience & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of consulting experience (depending on level), ideally in a top-tier consulting practice focused on the energy sector, or a directly relevant energy sector role.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Financial modelling experience highly regarded. 
  • Expert proficiency in relevant consulting technology tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word) 
  • Self-motivated, highly proactive, a team player, and having a resilient attitude.  
  • Perth, Brisbane or Melbourne based.
