Ed is a highly experienced Power Systems Engineer with more than 20 years of experience across transmission planning, system studies and renewable energy grid connections. He has supported the connection and delivery of utility-scale solar, wind, hybrid and battery energy storage projects across the NEM, with expertise spanning AEMO connection studies, GPS development, NER compliance, model validation and commissioning support. His technical capability includes advanced power system modelling using PSS®E, PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Ed works closely with developers, network service providers, AEMO, OEMs and EPC contractors to navigate complex connection requirements and achieve project objectives. Before joining the Australian energy sector, he spent more than 10 years with the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines in transmission planning and power system studies.
