Naveenkumar Rajagopal brings nearly a decade of experience in advanced power system studies across national grids, industrial facilities and the oil and gas sector in Australia, India, the Middle East and Europe. Since joining the Grid Connections team in 2021, Naveen has progressed from Senior Power Systems Engineer in India to Lead Engineer in Malaysia and now Principal Power Systems Engineer in Australia, playing a leading role over the past five years in the integration of solar, wind, battery energy storage and hybrid projects within the Australian power system, and leading major HVDC and renewable energy grid connection studies internationally. He began his career with ABB and Manav Energy in India. Naveen holds a Master's in Engineering (Power Systems Engineering) and a Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) from Anna University, Chennai, and is a professional member of IET, CIGRE and IEEE PES.
