Syafiq Ishamuddin is a Power Systems Engineer in Rennie Advisory's Grid Connections team with over 10 years of experience in power system studies, network analysis and grid connection assessments. Syafiq has supported the delivery of more than 60 power system studies, primarily for grid connection applications across Malaysia and Australia. His experience spans renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and conventional generation projects, with expertise in load flow, fault level, dynamic stability and EMT studies using industry-leading software including PSS®E, PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Syafiq also leverages Python programming to automate engineering workflows, data analysis and reporting. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering and is committed to supporting the energy transition through the integration of renewable energy technologies into modern power systems.
